Kan is a goal-management app provided by Aspado.
Delete your account in the app
In Kan, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account.
Review what will be deleted, then verify your identity with your current sign-in provider to submit the deletion request.
If you cannot use the app
Email [email protected] and ask us to delete your Kan account.
The owner manually sends a one-time verification code to the Firebase-registered email address. Reply with the code from that mailbox within 24 hours to complete verification. An unverified request never changes the account or its data.
After verification, Aspado’s sole owner, with a recent reauthentication, runs the same automated deletion lifecycle used by in-app account deletion and replies with the result.
Data we delete
We delete synchronized goals and tasks from Cloud Firestore, customer identifiers and user-generated data from Basecamp, and the sign-in account from Firebase Authentication. In-app deletion also removes that account’s local data from the device.
Data we may retain
Minimum payment and supply records include an app-scoped, versioned HMAC lookup value derived from email instead of the plain-text email and an opaque deletion-request ID. These pseudonymous records are stored separately for five years from the transaction date and are then automatically destroyed. Customer IDs, Firebase UIDs, plain-text email, purchase tokens and raw receipts are excluded.
Processing time
In-app requests start processing immediately after confirmation. Email requests are completed within 30 days after identity verification, and we will reply with the result.
Cancel subscriptions separately
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in your store subscription settings.
Disconnect your sign-in provider separately
Account deletion and provider authorization are separate. Disconnecting your sign-in provider is a separate step; if needed, remove Kan access in your Google or Apple account settings.
