Muum Privacy Policy
Aspado handles information for Muum, a camera app, as described below. This policy covers the iOS version: capture, storage, banner advertising, premium ad removal and customer support. Muum does not require an app account or sign-in.
1. Information and purposes
| Category | Information | Purpose and location |
|---|---|---|
| Capture and saving | Photos, videos, audio when enabled and capture file information | Capture, filters and saving to Photos; processed on your device |
| Local app records | Latest capture copy, unsaved videos and filter settings, capture preferences and recent file references | Latest-result viewing, save recovery and preferences; stored on your device |
| Advertising | IP address and approximate location inferred from it, device/app identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, diagnostic/performance information | Google ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and improvement |
| Ad consent | Privacy choices and consent status | Consent management through Google UMP |
| Premium purchases | Product identifier, verified transactions and entitlement status | Ad removal, restoration and handling refunds/revocations through Apple StoreKit |
| Support | Email address, inquiry and voluntarily supplied device/OS/app versions and attachments | Answering inquiries and resolving issues |
Camera media is not provided for advertising. The app has no feature uploading original captures to an Aspado server and uses no separate account or analytics server. It does not request precise GPS location permission. Advertising services may infer approximate location from an IP address.
2. Permissions and local files
Camera permission enables capture. Add-only Photos permission enables saving; Muum does not request access to read your entire photo library. Microphone permission is used when video audio recording is enabled. Without it, videos record without sound. You can change permissions in iPhone Settings.
The app keeps one copy of the latest successfully saved photo or video, replacing it after the next successful save. This copy can remain after deleting the original from Photos. Unsaved videos and filter settings may remain for recovery until saved or deleted in the app. Capture file directories are excluded from system backup.
Deleting the app removes internal files and settings, but leaves captures already saved to Photos. Delete those separately in Photos. System services such as iCloud Photos follow your settings and their own policies.
3. Advertising and purchases
The free version displays Google AdMob banners. The iOS version requests non-personalized ads; this does not mean that advertising services process no information. Access to advertising identifiers depends on operating-system permissions and settings.
Muum checks consent status with Google UMP and requests ads when permitted. Required privacy forms are shown. If Ad privacy options appears under the detailed menu → Settings, you can revisit your choices. Choices may affect available ads or prevent ads from appearing. Capture remains available regardless of advertising consent choices.
Premium ad removal is a one-time purchase. Once entitlement is verified, banners are removed and new ad requests stop. An SDK initialized before purchase is not necessarily removed from memory. Apple processes payments. Muum does not collect payment card details or send transactions to a separate developer purchase-verification server.
4. External services and international processing
| Provider | Service | Countries and timing/method | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google LLC | AdMob advertising/measurement and UMP consent | United States and other Google service locations; network transfers during ad/consent service use | Google’s applicable privacy and retention policies |
| Apple Inc. | App Store payments and StoreKit entitlement checks/restoration | United States and other Apple service locations; store services during purchase/entitlement checks | Apple’s privacy policy and applicable law |
Categories and purposes are described in sections 1 and 3. Aspado does not directly control every retention period of external providers. Applicable consent is handled through ad privacy forms or store processes. Requests concerning information held by Google or Apple can also be made directly to those services.

5. Retention and deletion
Original captures remain in Photos until you delete them. The latest app copy remains until the next successful save or app deletion. Recovery videos may remain until successfully saved, discarded or the app is deleted. Preferences remain until changed or the app is deleted.
Following Aspado’s existing support standard, inquiry records are retained for one year after resolution and then deleted. Information subject to a legal retention requirement is stored separately for that period and deleted afterwards. Do not send original captures or sensitive information that is unnecessary for resolving your inquiry.
6. Choices and rights
You can change permissions, delete local files and revisit advertising privacy choices. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or withdrawal of consent concerning inquiry information held by Aspado. We may request proportionate identity verification to protect your information. Muum has no app account requiring an account-deletion procedure. App deletion and deletion of Apple purchase records are separate.
Aspado limits access to information to what is needed for its work. Internal capture files use operating-system app storage and are excluded from system backup. Inquiry records are deleted when their purpose and retention period end.
